About the Studio

Art Spot Studio is a home based studio, located minutes from downtown Snohomish, and has been recognized as a "Top Ten" art school in Washington. 

Since Art Spot Studio began in 2008, many students have won national and local art awards, been published in magazines and art books, had their own art shows, and some have gone on to be accepted to art schools or universities to pursue careers in art.

Weekly classes and weekend workshops are offered for ages 6-18. Over the summer, look for camps and special events. Looking for something online? Art Spot Studio also offers many online art classes available to do at home, with the same kind of nurturing guidance as experienced in person.

All classes are taught by professional artist Nikki Gardner. Nikki is the recipient of several teaching awards, including  a "Teacher of Distinction Award." 

About the owner

Always an artist, Nikki grew up taking classes like the ones she teaches, out of an artist's home studio! She went on to study art in college, and graphic design after earning her degree in art. Nikki has shown and sold her artwork at various galleries and venues, and won awards for her artwork in several juried exhibits.

Besides spending time with her family and painting, teaching art also brings her great joy! Sometimes the right job just finds you, and you know it's what you were meant to do. That's how she feels about teaching art!
